People & Water is an activity that takes students on a journey from what happens to water on its way to our homes.

Time: 20 - 40 minutes

Where the water in our daily lives comes from
A deeper appreciation for how water gets from the environment to our homes

Start the lesson with a Know-Want to Know- Learned (KWL) chart.
Ask the students what they know about water in their community/homes.
Then ask what the students want to know about water and how it interacts with people.
Afterwards, choose one of the following formats to share with students:

After reading/viewing, students can choose between online matching game through Flippity or printed card deck.
Then, students can meet in groups to discuss the questions on the slides.
After discussion have students fill out the "Learned" section of the KWL chart.
