Choose the card set you would like to use ("Water Cycle" -or- "People Water Cycle" - different vocabulary & concepts)
Your choice: print 1 card deck for a full class set -OR- print multiple sets and divide class into smaller groups, using only the # of cards needed for each group to have a set of cards to work with
Sort deck and choose priority cards based on number of participants, student age, comprehension of vocabulary, and acting ability (Make sure the set you choose can still create a cycle that makes sense)
Give students ~15 minutes to collaborate their skit or role play (including developing simple props if desired)
For younger students: If possible, assign a teacher, older student, or aid to support student groups
Each group then acts out their role play (this can be done in the classroom or outdoors for more space for movement)
After all of the performances, optional evaluation methods are provided below for teachers and/or students (KWL Chart, Google Form, Note Catcher)
